About the Role

Mini Wonder is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Keyholder to help support the day-to-day operations of our kids shop. This person will work closely with the Store Manager and retail team to create a warm customer experience, maintain a strong sales floor and help keep the store organized, stocked and running smoothly.

As a Keyholder, you’ll be trusted to open and close the store, support the team during your shifts and step into additional responsibility when the Store Manager is not on-site.

Availability Needed

We are specifically looking for someone who can consistently work the following schedule. Please only apply if this availability works for you:

  • Monday afternoons
  • Thursday: full-day availability
  • Friday: full-day availability
  • Sunday: full-day availability
  • Occasional Saturdays

Exact shift times may adjust slightly based on store hours and business needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Open and/or close the store and follow all keyholder, cash-handling and security procedures.
  • Provide a warm, helpful customer experience and support the team in meeting daily sales goals.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across Mini Wonder’s assortment and seasonal collections.
  • Support and guide sales associates during shifts, helping keep priorities clear and the floor running smoothly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and focused store environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the team, customers and colleagues.
  • Support visual merchandising, new product placement and seasonal store updates.
  • Assist with store events and launches.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed during your shifts.
  • Support store operations including stock organization, replenishment, inventory control, transfers, markdowns, restock and general housekeeping.
  • Communicate customer feedback, team needs and operational issues clearly to the Store Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous retail or customer-service experience; keyholder or leadership experience is a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual and comfortable taking ownership during a shift.
  • Friendly, confident and genuinely enjoys helping customers.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, proactive and willing to jump in wherever the store needs support.
  • Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions when a manager is not on-site.
  • Ability to bend, reach and move product and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to consistently meet the availability requirements listed above.
