Social Media Lead

Alice & Wonder is seeking an experienced Social Media Lead to own the vision, strategy, and voice of our social presence across two brands. This is a senior, creative leadership role for someone who understands that social media is not just execution, it’s storytelling, community, and brand building.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is deeply online, culturally fluent and excited to partner closely with founders to shape how our brands show up in the world.

You will define what we say, why we say it and how it evolves while working with our marketing team to bring that vision to life.

What you’ll do:

Strategy & Vision

  • Own and evolve the social media strategy for Alice & Wonder and Mini Wonder
  • Define content pillars, tone, POV and platform-specific approaches
  • Translate brand values into consistent, compelling social storytelling
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, shifts, and cultural moments

Leadership & Direction

  • Act as the creative lead for social: setting direction, not just executing tasks
  • Guide and collaborate with a Content Coordinator
  • Partner closely with founders on voice, values and storytelling
  • Provide clear briefs, feedback and priorities

Brand & Community

  • Ensure brand integrity, consistency and authenticity across all platforms
  • Shape how we engage with and grow our community
  • Decide when, how and why we show up in conversations
  • Help define our stance, tone and response during moments that matter

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor performance and identify insights that inform strategy
  • Use data to refine content direction, not just report numbers
  • Balance intuition with analytics

What you got:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, content, or brand marketing
  • Proven ability to lead social strategy, not just manage posts
  • Strong editorial judgment and cultural fluency
  • Experience working closely with founders or creative leaders
  • Comfort managing multiple brands or voices
  • Confident decision-maker who can champion ideas
  • Clear communicator with strong taste and instincts

We're a female-led team that values creativity, collaboration and building something meaningful together. You'll get a front-row seat to running a growing small business and a voice in shaping where it goes next.

Compensation & Growth:

This is a full-time role with a salary range of $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.

This role is designed to grow. As our brands expand, this position has a clear path toward expanded leadership, team building, and deeper ownership of brand storytelling across channels.
