Content Creator & Community Manager

Location: In-Office, Chicago

Reports to: Social Media Lead

Brands: Alice & Wonder & Mini Wonder

Alice & Wonder is looking for a Content Creator & Community Manager to help bring our organic and paid social presence to life across two brands. This role owns the creation and execution of high-performing social content while cultivating an engaged, loyal community.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating content, connecting with people and being part of a brand that values warmth, creativity and belonging. You’ll work closely with our Senior Social Media Lead to execute the social vision and help nurture a thoughtful, engaged community.

What you’ll do:

Content Production, Creative Support & Execution

  • Create, edit and publish social content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
  • Edit and format creative assets for paid social campaigns, ensuring content feels native to the brand and aligned with organic storytelling
  • Turn direction, raw footage and ideas into polished reels, posts and stories
  • Assist with caption writing and scheduling
  • Support launches, promotions and key brand moments
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and tone

 Community Management & Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across platform
  • Foster a warm, inclusive and on-brand community presence
  • Flag meaningful feedback, questions or trends to the Social Media Lead
  • Help identify and save user-generated content and community stories

Organization & Support

  •  Assist in maintaining content calendars and asset libraries
  • Track engagement and community insights
  • Help ensure social workflows run smoothly across both brands

What you got:

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media, content creation or community management
  • Strong content creation and editing skills (mobile and desktop tools)
  • Thoughtful communicator with a natural people-first approach
  • Highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working across two brand voices
  • Curious, collaborative and eager to grow

We're a female-led team that values creativity, connection, and building something meaningful together. This role offers a front-row seat to the day-to-day rhythm of running a growing small business - with room to learn and grow.

 Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time role with a salary range of $55,000-$75,000, depending on experience
